Motorola has scheduled the launch of two new smartphones named Moto X30 Pro and Moto Razr 2022 for August 2. The Moto Razr 2022 will debut as a successor to the previously launched foldable Moto Razr 5G handset. This upcoming foldable handset appeared on Geekbench benchmark site and the listing suggests that it will get power from a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

Just to recall, the previously launched foldable Moto Razr 5G handset packed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset which is a mid-range processor; however, this time the predecessor is going to get a flagship chipset that is the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The Moto Razr 2022 managed to score 1251 and 4076 points in the single core and the multi-core tests. The phone appeared with XT2251-1 as model number on the benchmarking platform and the listing reveals that there will be an octa-core processor which is most likely to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

Just an fyi, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset is built with TSMC’s 4nm process and it is backed by an Adreno 730 GPU. Furthermore, the listing also reveals that the phone will have a 12 GB RAM.

Some images of this device have also been leaked and they suggest that the phone will house a 50 megapixel camera lens on the back along with a 13 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens while it will flaunt a 32 megapixel lens on the front for selfies and video calls. The device is tipped to be offered in Tranquil Blue and Quartz Black colour options and it could be priced around EUR 1,149 which is roughly Rs 95,000.
